Farewell Jukka, you have inspired and guided us in our work with molecules for molecular imaging throughout the years and certainly labelled us as precursors with excitement toward this interesting field.

PharmaSynth has been authorised as GMP manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API's)


In autumn 2018 PharmaSynth's manufacturing site was audited by the State Agency of Medicines, the competent authority of Estonia.

The GMP certificate can be viewed on the homepage of the  European Inspections database EudraGMDP site: API registration number 726 (AS-mf) and GMP certificate number IN-2-14/19/1 (API), country Estonia.

The GMP certified precursor for [18F]SynVesT-2 / [18F]SDM-2 (an [18F]-analog of UCB-J) and the reference standard for SynVesT-2 / SDM-2 are available.
GMP certified precursors for [18F]mFBG are available

The GMP certified precursor for [18F]SynVesT-1/[18F]SDM-8/[18F]MNI-1126 (an [18F]-analog of UCB-J) and the reference standard for SDM-8 / MNI-1126 are available.

[18F]UCB-J. Now also the trimethylstannyl precursor for the exact [18F] analog of UCB-J is available.

New products added to our portfolio: the GMP certified precursor BF3-Dm-UCB-J and the reference standard UCB-J for synaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2A (SV2A) tracer [11C]UCB-J for quantification of synaptic density in brain.
We have added a new ligand for TSPO to our product portfolio: the precursor Desmethyl-ER176 and corresponding reference standard ER176 for PET radioligand [11C]ER176. 
New products, the precursor TsO-PIA-Me and the reference standard FPIA for the PET radiotracer [18F]PIA, the PET imaging agent for tumor detection.
PharmaSynth has introduced new ligands to its product portfolio:
